The ETS round 5 of the 2014/2015 season took place at the beautiful "Mini Circuit ville de Luxembourg". This track is famous worldwide for its Laguna Seca style corkscrew section as well as many other technical corners, which proves challenging for all competitors. The XRAY team was in full attendance, hoping to do well in all categories.

In the formula class, Jan Ratheisky finally managed to take 3rd place overall which would secure him his 3rd consecutive overall title in this category. Facing difficult competition from Olivier Bultynck and David Ehrbar, Jan still showed a great pace to be able to finish on the podium. Well done Jan! XRAY had 6 x X1 cars in the main final, a great result for our team!

In the pro stock class, TQ man Marek Cerny had very bad luck in the finals as in A1, low grip track conditions caught him as his car spun out in the grass during the opening lap. After securing an important A2 win, he would be taken out from behind in A3, which lead to a body tuck, and thus that ended his chances for a high finishing position. It was a shame to see some of the unfair driving going on in these pro stock finals. Jan Ratheisky took his T4'15 to 6th place overall!

The modified class would prove very eventful as well. I had some really good practice runs, and managed to TQ the opening qualifier. I was really satisfied with my car and confident for the upcoming qualifiers. Unfortunately, track conditions would change very drastically for the next rounds, and in combination with a very poor 2nd set of tires, I wasn't able to fight for the TQ position. Finally I qualified 2nd overall which I was fairly pleased with.

The first two finals would prove very challenging for me as I was struggling a lot with the handling of the car. Unfortunately I was not able to defend my 2nd position and was demoted to 4th and 5th respectively. As my car stopped on the track, just after finishing A2, it was obvious that I had an electronic problem with my car. I mounted a new ESC and motor for A3, and everything seemed to be back to normal as I was competitive again. I managed to take the win in A3 after pressuring the TQ man Ronald into making a mistake. The A3 win felt fantastic since it also lead to the overall win of my team mate Bruno Coelho! Bruno would qualify 4th after some small problems in qualifying. In the finals he showed a strong pace and good overtakings as always to finish 3rd in A1 and take the win in A2. This would award him the overall win in this extremely close ETS encounter! I am happy and proud of our team work and we are all looking forward to the ETS final in Trencin at the Hudy Arena, our home court!
